How much meat is a Quarter Cow?

How much meat - about 109 lbs. Yes, it will fit in your freezer! This much beef takes up about 5-7 cubic feet of freezer space. Most people like to keep it in a small chest freezer but a typical top freezer will be fine.

Cost – roughly $1,175.  You only pay for the actual meat, not the hide or all that other stuff we prefer not to think about. Bones and organs are included by request. We require a 50% deposit at the time of ordering, with the remainder due at delivery/pickup.

How long will it last? – That depends on how often you cook and how much you eat! Cooking 2-4 lbs of beef per week means your quarter share will last about 6 months. Your beef will stay fresh in the freezer for 12-18 months.

How long does it take – We butcher year round but from the time you order it could take up to 4-6 weeks. We will let you know when it’s ready and schedule your pickup or delivery. It is recommended you bring coolers if you are picking up or we can schedule a home delivery.  Your beef will come totally frozen. **This is for local pickup only, we can’t ship beef orders.
